“Call for Artists” for “Refuse/reseen” in April
The major show will be part of FiberPhiladelphia 2012
that features many artists, gallery shows and special events
Reading, Pa— The some things looming ( www.somethingslooming.com ) Fiber Arts Gallery and Studio, 526 Washington Street, Reading, has issued a “Call for Artists” to submit works for its upcoming salon-style exhibition, “Refuse/reseen,” that will run from April 14 through June 2, 2012. The show is part of the larger FiberPhiladelphia 2012 biennial celebration from March through May involving many artists, gallery exhibitions, major art institutions and numerous independent venues.
The deadline to enter "Refuse/reseen" is February 25, 2012 and the entry fee is $35. The "Best in Show" winner will receive a $258 award and his or her own show at some things looming during the 2012-2013 exhibit season.

The Vermont Crafts Council is sponsoring its first ever Fall Foliage Open Studio Weekend on Oct. 1-2, and I am delighted to say I am participating in this statewide event. You are cordially invited to visit my studio at The Granary in Brandon. It is located at The Granary, 29 Union St., just west of Rte. 7 in the center of town. It's a few doors down on the right from Rite Aid and Hannaford's. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. If you need to come at another time, just let me know, and we can make an appointment. The event is free of charge, and all are welcome.
